  We stayed at the New Orleans Hotel on the 13th and 14th of April 2018. Room was very basic. Bathroom shabby and shower hadn't been cleaned for months. The towels were fraying and raggedy. We had no hot water when we tried to shower in the evening on our first night. We had a lower 'courtyard' room which was basically a junk space where the staff went to smoke and chop wood. We had to sleep with ear plugs add it was so noisy. I was embarrassed to be a kiwi as this place is in the middle of a tourist mecca in beautiful Arrowtown. New Orleans Hotel rooms are a disgrace and definitely not worth $150 a night!
